Braun have a particular and unique way to make sure you get a good shave.  They have a special system for cleaning your shaver.

Basically, they use the vibration of the shaver to work with a special cleaning solution to "knock the dirt off" - and frankly, after shaving even the cleanest of face there's a fair bit of debris trapped in the average shaver.  It's probably obvious that a clean shaver is likely to give you a better shave than a dirty one (duh!), so the Braun system in particular ensures that you get just that: a clean shaver and a clean shave.

Of course you can do it all yourself with other shavers, but it's a lot of work and effort.  For those of us with less time to spare, this semi-auto Braun system is a nice little touch to add an element of convenience to a daily routine.
